Madonna brings vision, ring brings execution

While Madonna and Pebble may not be the most visible collaborative duo in the NFT space, it turns out at first glance that they’ve been working hard for over a year now. The Mother of Creation Triptych became available to the public on March 11, at 6 p.m. EDT. The collection was launched through an auction hosted by SuperRare.

Both Madonna and Pebble shared the event on their social media profiles, and it attracted thousands of views and likes. It is not surprising considering the influence they have in their respective fields. You can watch the official announcement below:

What is the mother group of creation?

The “Mother of Creation” project consists of three teams, each representing a different idea regarding motherhood and childbirth. The images feature a digital style of Madonna’s body as a giving birth.

The first NFT in the group is “Mother of Nature”. This is a one minute video that depicts Madonna in a futuristic lab giving birth to a plant. The photos are somewhat graphic, but they convey Madonna and Pebble’s focus on motherhood through different perspectives. At the time of writing, the highest bid for this coin is 15 ETH, or around $28,000. Auction ends in less than 48 hours. If you are interested in purchasing an NFT, place your bid here.

The second NFT in the series follows the same artistic flow but offers a different perspective on motherhood. In “Mother of Evolution” Madonna’s character gives birth to a swarm of butterflies in a post-apocalyptic location. Currently, the highest bid for “Mother of Evolution” is 5.5 ETH, or about $10,500. Auction ends in less than 48 hours. If you are interested, you can place your bid here.

Finally, “Mother of Technology” presents the digital version of a pop star during the birth of many mechanical centipedes. The scenery surrounding Madonna offers a complete juxtaposition of the technological aspect of the delivery. At the time of writing, the highest bid for “Mother of Technology” is 5.5 ETH, or around $10,500. You can view the NFT and submit a presentation here.

Each of the three videos showcases Madonna’s unique perception of the world and Beeple’s unmistakable style. The creative duo were able to align their artistic visions and offer a stunning new look at childbirth and motherhood.

Importantly, the proceeds from the initial sale will go to three charities. All three organizations focus on supporting women and children around the world.

Madonna and Pebble as NFT collectors

Aside from being talented and visionary entertainers, both Madonna and Pebble are NFT collectors. Beeple owns one of NFT’s largest collections of celebrities, with over 4,400 unique collectibles in his portfolio.

It’s part of PROOF Collective, an exclusive membership club for collectors, artists, and Web 3 enthusiasts. Thanks to its membership, Beeple now owns 2 Moonbirds NFTs. Aside from popular collectibles from hot projects, Beeple also places a big bet on digital art. Holds many rare pieces and even Hashmasks NFT.

Looking at Madonna’s NFT portfolio, we see a completely different group. The pop star joined the NFT space earlier this year after purchasing Bored Ape #4988. Impressively, this NFT is no longer in the original wallet in which it was purchased; However, there is no sale transaction, only a transfer. The new wallet contains only 5 NFTs, including BAYC, and it is very likely that the remaining 4 were gifts from fans. In this sense, Madonna has yet to start building her NFT group, or at least not publicly. However, the pop star’s engagement to Bored Ape Yacht Club indicates that she is interested in the NFT space.

On top of that, Mother of Creation promises to be one of the hottest NFT drops this spring, and will effectively position Madonna in the digital art scene as well. DappRadar will continue to monitor Madonna and Pebble’s joint and individual trips to the NFT. To check out the official auction, visit the SuperRare website.
